On June 14th we invite you to join us for an informal social that celebrates creativity in Jedburgh.
There are two ways to get involved!
One; for all you makers out there, we ask you to bring along something to show. It could be a painting, a poem, a loaf of bread, a scarf, a birdhouse, an arrangement of flowers, a record, and book… you get the idea. Anything goes! And we’re not looking just for ‘professional’ creatives. If you made it and you live in (or near enough!) to Jed, bring it on down.
We’ll set up a mini, pop up exhibition where people can see you work. Just bring something along and we’ll do the rest.
Two: you might be a creative person. But you might love creativity! So come on down and see what people in your community are up to.
Anything else?
Sure. It’s a chance to speak to other people who love a bit of creativity and making. It’s a chance to speak to us (Jedburgh Community Arts) about our work and the Town Hall project. And there’ll be colouring and lego building stations too.
We’re getting together in The Carter’s Rest on June 14th from 12pm – 2pm. If the sun is out, the beer garden and kids playground are just outside. We’d love to see you there!
